missions.

At Bridgewood Student Ministries we love to support missions. We do that in three different ways. We give financially. We serve locally. We serve on missions/service trips.

Financially, our student ministries is supporting 4 different people/organizations. Here are all of the people/organizations that we support.

  • Memory Mhone, a little girl in Malawi, Africa. Supported through World Vision.
  • Suphakorn Ngamsong (also known as "Cos"), a little boy in Thailand. Supported through Compassion International.
  • Jonathan and Alicia Farrant, missionaries to Guatemala. They are literally reaching thousands of people for Christ in that country!
  • Feed My Starving Children, an organization in the Twin Cities that is striving to end the starvation of children worldwide.

We serve locally with different "Serve Projects."

  • We have served at Feed My Starving Children.
  • We have collected our own food drive.
  • We have cleaned up our local streets.
  • We have volunteered at nursing homes.
  • We have volunteered at a women and children homeless shelter.

We have served on missions/service trips beyond our own home state.

  • We have twice been to New York City.
  • We have been to Denver.
  • We have been to Green Bay.
  • We are currently planning on going to Guatemala the summer of 2008.
